She Inspires: group exhibition at Untitled Space, NYC
I have two paintings, including this one of modernist American poet Marianne Moore (part of my Modernism Project), in the group exhibition, She Inspires, curated by Indira Cesarine at the Untitled Space gallery in NYC. The show opens May 2, 2017 and runs until June. The wide range of work honors women who have made a positive impact on the world and includes some notable artists / activists. Bared anthology
I''m honored to have two of my older figure paintings, Humps and Repose, included in this awesome anthology, Bared from Les Femmes Folles Books. Edited by Laura Madeline Wiseman and Sally Deskins, it celebrates female artists and writers who explore themes and imagery involving breasts and bras.
Old Modern, solo exhibition, UC Clermont College
Another body of work I've been creating on the side is a portrait series of women. It’s an extension of my research, and documents some of the female writers, artists, and creative types of all stripes, who were part of the modernist avant-garde in the first few decades of the twentieth century. The series sheds light on their later years, and I’ve painted them in old age. The exhibition is on view in the campus gallery of University of Cincinnati Clermont College, through March 28, to coincide with Women's History Month. View the portraits here

Bared exhibition, Morgantown
I have an older painting included in Bared, a group exhibition at the Diamond Gallery in Morgantown, WV. Curated by Sally Deskins, it features artists from the corresponding anthology and the work explores feminist themes through imagery related to women's breasts. Opening reception is March 3 and the show runs through March 24.

Solo exhibition at Fitton Center for the Creative Arts, Hamilton
My work will be featured in the Bevre North Gallery at Fitton Center for Creative Arts in historic downtown Hamilton, just north of Cincinnati. This current body of work includes mixed media paintings, works on paper and encaustic monoprints as Arbitrary Language, a solo exhibition that's part of Forged and Fired.
